DIY Halloween CenterpieceLooking for a Halloween centerpiece for your table? Here’s one that I made that took about an hour. Here’s what you need:

  • Ribbon
  • Cardboard Letters
  • A container (bowl, pumpkin, whatever you have available, I used a glass pumpkin fro Target)
  • Scissors
  • Fake Flowers/Halloween Decor (I got mine from Michaels)
  • Burlap
  • Wire Cutters
  • Flower Foam
  • 2 Skewers or Paper Straws
  • String
  • Hot Glue

DIY Halloween CenterpieceFirst cut your burlap 6-7 inches wideDIY Halloween Centerpiece Place the floral foam into your container, if you are working with fresh flowers you would want to soak the floral foam in water, with fake flowers it should be dry.DIY Halloween Centerpiece Place the burlap over the floral foam to hide the foam from view. I used a garland of fake black leaves to wrap around the edge of the pumpkin as a base.DIY Halloween CenterpieceCut your fake flowers with the wire cutters leaving enough of a stem to to push into the foam between the burlap which is pictured below. DIY Halloween Centerpiece Fill in the foam with the flowers making sure not to leave any big holes as they will be hard to fill.DIY Halloween Centerpiece I used spiderwebs from the craft store to fill the remainder of the holes between the flowersDIY Halloween Centerpiece I used these cardboard letters found for $1 at the craft store and pulled out the letters to make to word SPOOKYDIY Halloween Centerpiece I painted the letters to all be the same color using a spongeDIY Halloween Centerpiece Once the letters dried I turned them over and glued string to the back of letters and tied the ends to two paper straws. DIY Halloween Centerpiece I placed the straws into the foam and added a bow made out of ribbon to finish the centerpiece. Now enjoy your centerpiece at your party or dinner!DIY Halloween Centerpiece
