Halloween Inspired Jar Decor

Halloween JarsI found these cute little jars at Michaels for a dollar a pair and figured I could make a cute mantle piece Halloween Decoration.Halloween JarsWhat you will need:

  • Jars
  • Paint
  • Painter’s tape
  • Paint Brush/Paint Sponge
  • Small Cardboard Letters (also found for $1 at Michaels)
  • Toothpicks
  • Tape/Glue

First thing you need to do is decide on a design for your bottles and place the painters tape around the jar however you want. I mixed it up on every jar to get a range of looks. Halloween JarsPaint over the un-taped part of the jar to create your design. I added glitter to one of the bottles while the paint was wet to try a different look.Halloween JarsLet the jars dry thoroughly before removing the tape.Halloween JarsI attached the cardboard letters to toothpicks using tape, you can also glue these, but i figured it would be easier to put away at the end of the season if they could be taken apart. Place your letters in the jars and you have a nice new Halloween decoration for your mantle or table.Halloween Jars

I love these and I love that you can put them away. You could actually also use letters spelling THANKS and place some fall leaves around to extend them to through November! Just another idea!
