Red Velvet Crackled Cookies

These Red Velvet crackled cookies are the best!  They are super quick and easy to make.  Also, I heard Santa loves a plate of these with some milk!

This is what you will need:

Red Velvet Crackled Cookies

  • One box of velvet cake mix
  • 6 tbsp of butter (non salted)
  • One cup powdered sugar
  • One tsp of cornstarch
  • Two eggs

So let’s get started Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.  Find a small mixing bowl and combine your corn starch and powdered sugar with a spoon.

Then in a separate bowl combine your red velvet cake mix, eggs, and melted butter.  Stir with a spoon until all ingredients are incorporated.

Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of it fully mixed, but it is easy to do.  Then drop by spoonful into powdered sugar. Coat completely and then roll them into balls 1-inch balls covered with powdered sugar.Red Velvet Crackled Cookies

Place on parchment paper on the baking sheets about 2 inches apart.Red Velvet Crackled Cookies

Bake 9-11 minutes or until set

Cool several minutes on baking sheet then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.  Then they are ready to plate and eat.  I also like to add Hershey kisses on top!
